This year we invited the Rockshop along to Music Machines and we’re delighted to say that Leon (Hi-tech Don) was only too pleased to be involved. Leon brought along some great gear last year and has come up with the goods again this year with some amazing vintage and modern gear lined up for you to check out.
Music Machines is as much about the people who use the gear as the gear itself and it’s always exciting to see how different artists create their music. Leon has put together a great lineup in the NZ Rockshop room to showcase their music and the gear they use.
Paddy Free – Ableton Live
Chris Cox aka Frank Booker – Maschine
Thomas Sahs – Ableton Live
I’m really excited to check out how these guys put their music together and it’s particularly exciting to have Paddy and Thomas showcase how they use Ableton. For a taste of something new we’ve also got Chris Cox (aka Frank Booker) coming along to showcase the new Maschine unit from Native Instruments and talk about his productions.
